He came to us via a shelter in Stark County, OH.
We believe he was kept outside in a kennel his whole life.
He prefers to be outside lounging in the yard.
He has adjusted to lying on his orthopedic doggie bed in his foster Mom’s bedroom, he is now house trained as well.
When we took him he was emaciated (23 lbs and now 30lbs) and is heart worm positive. We have him going through slow kill treatment for this 8 year old pooch.
One of the reasons we believe he lived outside is because at 8 yrs old he is having issues with arthritis in his back legs, and his vision is starting to become cloudy.
He is standard neutered male Eskie, and is fully vetted.
He is loner and is fine with other dogs, but does not engage in playful activities.
He does really enjoy being petted and his fanny being scratched.
He is being fostered near Cincinnati, OH
